When Stokke rose to fame and became a photographer, more photographers started to attend the events in which she took part, and her internet fame continued to grow over the years. Stokke Fowler attended Berkeley University on an academic scholarship. She continued to compete in athletic competitions. From high school through her college years she was an accomplished track and field player. She set numerous records during competitions.
